Wow! I created this blog especially for this contest, and this will be the start of myself as a "blogger". First of all, thank you Philippine Concerts for giving me a chance to win 2 tickets to watch the concert of my choice. Not only me, but to all the other people in the Philippines too! :)
It would really be a dream come true to spend time with my best friend this April 26 rocking out along with our idol, Avenged Sevenfold!

a. Why do you want to watch the Concert?
I want to watch this concert because Avenged Sevenfold is unlike any ordinary band. They're so awesome when it comes to their voices, guitars, drums, lyrics-- ALL IN ONE PACKAGE! My best friend was the one who influenced me to listen to their songs, he was like "Hey! Check out this cool heavy metal band, Avenged Sevenfold!" At first, I was a little hesitant, because I'm a girl, and us girls love our typical Taylor Swift songs HAHA But after I heard a couple of A7x's songs.. I got hooked! What an amazing band-- full of genuine passion for music :)
But, that's not the main reason why I want to watch this concert.. It's because my best friend and I got into a huge argument last week, and I've been thinking of a way to make it up to him, especially since I'll be leaving the country next month and will be going to abroad to study :( This is the best surprise and remembrance I could ever give, and I'm sure this concert together will mean a lot because
1. Avenged Sevenfold is our favorite band
2. It might be our last time to spend together
3. It will be our first time to attend a concert!
Actually, we were planning to go, but due to financial problems, we weren't able to push through. I got so excited when I found out about this contest because there might be a chance we'd get to see Avenged Sevenfold live. *cross fingers* :D
b. What is your favorite song from the chosen Artist
I would say Dear God. It's definitely about missing someone/people you love, and it's like, " I miss them so much, but dear God I hope they're happy and at their best."
c. Why did you choose that song?
First, the conclusion of the song is so touching, besides the country styled guitar and background rhythm, it will totally spin your mind around. Every time I listen to this song, it's like I've been transformed to a place where it's only me and the song, nothing else matters. Not only am I deeply affected by this song, but this is the only song that I was able to say "na-LSS ako!" :D Second, it's calling out to God to help him get through the difficult time he's been going through. It's different compared to the other songs, much more heart warming and powerful.
Lastly, my friend and I went through a lot-- joy, tears, laughs, good times, bad times... but we always encourage one another. I'll be leaving all my loved ones here in the Philippines and I will really miss everyone so much, especially my best friend. This song will surely be my #1 "outlet" whenever I feel lonely and sad.
